TSP 228R cam, TSP 224R cam, and Stock-Internal Dyno Sheets |

TSP 228R Camshaft, Stock Heads This is the latest dyno graph of our Texas Speed & Performance 228R camshaft. I picked up 9 rear-wheel horsepower over our TSP 224R camshaft! The specs are 228/228 @ .050" lift, .588"/.588" lift, 111 LSA. Everytime I have had the car dynoed with the PT4400 torque converter, it consistently picks up 19 RWHP locked vs. unlocked. I have not dynoed the car yet with the converter locked with the 228R cam, but I would expect it to be around 388 RWHP. 400+ RWHP could be had through a T-56 six-speed tranny with this cam, stock heads, and all of the bolt-ons due to the less parasitic loss over the 4L60E! |

TSP 224R Camshaft, Stock Heads This is the first aftermarket camshaft that was installed in my SS. It's our TSP 224R camshaft with the following specs: 224/224 @ .050" lift, .581"/.581" lift, 112 LSA. I picked up 45 RWHP with just a cam swap! The 379.9 RWHP pull was with a locked torque converter, which is a Yank Pro Thruster 4,400. The 361 RWHP was with an unlocked converter and open cutout, and the 350 RWHP was with an unlocked converter and closed cutout. I use an SLP dual/dual system on the car when driving on the street since it is so quiet. |

SS With Stock Internals and Bolt-Ons Here is the last dyno sheet of the SS with a stock-internal engine. The 332 RWHP was with a locked torque converter, and the other two pulls were with the converter unlocked. FYI, I had the P.I. Vigilante 3200 converter at the time. |
